Eligibility Criteria for admission:
- The candidate should hold a MBBS degree from an Institution/ University recognised by Medical council of India (MCI).
- The candidate has completed the compulsory rotating internship on or before 31st march of the admission year.
- Candidates holding foreign degree must be registered practitioners in the Country from where they have obtained their degree and must obtain a temporary registration certificate from Medical Council of India (MCI).
All seats, including NRI/ Management quota are selected based on the rank obtained in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) conducted on an all India basis by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The seats are allotted by merit through online counselling conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority( kea.kar.nic.in ).
