BGS GLOBAL BLOOD CENTRE

The BGS Global state-of-the-art Blood Centre, was inaugurated by His holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji, Sri Sri Dr Prakashnath Swamiji, Honourable minister of State for Co-operation Mr S T Somashekar, Rotarian District Governor Mr B L Nagendra, Principal Dr M E Mohan and Medical Superintendent Dr Srikanth Kulkarni; on 30.06.2021 at 10:00 AM. The BGS Global Blood centre is fully automated for Blood group serology, Pre-transfusion testing, Compatibility testing, Antibody screening and Identification. The Blood centre is equipped with a state of art Blood component separation unit for separation of blood into blood components. In addition, the advanced apheresis laboratory is functional 24 hours on all days and is equipped with fully automated separators for plateletpheresis, plasmapheresis and leukopheresis.
