BRIEF INTRODUCTION
Forensic Medicine also called Legal medicine is a multidisciplinary subject, defined as the application of medical knowledge for the administration of justice.
We are examining the cases of unnatural death, assault, rape, accidents, drunkenness etc., collecting material evidence, formulating unbiased opinions and deposing scientific expert evidence in the honorable courts. We examine living individual and skeletal remains to estimate the age, which is essential for various civil and criminal issues. We assist the surgical and medical departments in handling various Medico legal issues like injuries, poison and Sexual offence. Doctors are governed by various Legislation’s and Acts in their dealing with patient, state and profession. So we train up the future doctors for Ethical and safe practice.
