Anaesthesiology is a branch of medicine that allows safe and artistic usage of drugs to induce a reversible state of total or partial lack of responsiveness to surgical procedures so that they can be carried out smoothly without any distress or inconvenience to the patient.
The Department of Anaesthesiology at BGS GIMS under the able guidance of our HOD uses the safest, advanced and patient focused techniques in the delivery of anaesthetic care.
We provide protocol based Anesthesia to various specialties like General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopaedics,ENT and are experts in resuscitation of the critically ill. Driven by the core values of safety, professionalism, knowledge and dedicated team work our aim is to provide the highest standard of patient care with safety, skills, and appropriate use of medical technology.
