Children’s Day -2023

The Children’s Day of November (14th)2023, was celebrated on 16th November in view of General Holiday on 14th November. The children’s day celebrated in hospital lecture hall. Dr. Darshan C and Dr. Chiranth S B delivered welcome speech followed by devotional song by Dr. Rohith H R seeking blessings of is divine sole PadmabhushanaSri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji , his holiness Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalananda Maha Swamiji , & Revered Sri Sri Dr. Prakashnatha Maha Swamijiin the presence of our beloved Dean cum Principle Dr. M E Mohan , Medical superintendent Dr.Srikanth Kulkarni, Head of department and Professor Dr. Ramesh M.

Dr. Purnima Samayam Professor highlighted the Theme of 2023 children’s day and its Importance The lightening of lamp done by the dignitaries.
Head of the Department Dr. Ramesh M spoke about department activities of 2022-2023 and given talk on personality development and asked students and children’s to be a moral citizen of the county.

Following this there was prize distribution UG & PG Toppers in paediatrics, also students eho have secured distinction in final year MBBSand winners for the Immunization, ORS & Breastfeeding week poster presentation & for the quiz competition conducted by Department of Paediatrics.

The department conducted an open drawing competition for the kids in IPD & OPD for which the kids took part enthusiastically, and the prizes distributed to all winning kids.

Afterwards lavish refreshments were arranged for everyone present, Which everybody savoured.

Last but not the least, the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Mansi Kumar

The programme was very informative for the Under graduates & Post Graduates, dignitaries and everyone part of it.
