Report on Successful Accomplishment of our student in CONNAISSANCE 5.0 organised by JIPMER, Pondicherry from 23rd-25thJune 2023
The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), Pondicherry, organised Fifth International Undergraduate Medical Students’ Conference -CONNAISSANCE 5.0 from 23rd -25th June 2023. In this platform they have conduced various medical academic events and workshops. Students from esteemed colleges from all over the nation took participated in the conference.
One among the various medical events at CONNAISSANCE 5.0 was the Model Health Assembly. Being an Ad Hoc Committee of the World Health Organization, the 42 participants were a part of a fast-paced crisis committee where delegates represented portfolios instead of countries.
In this event 3 students from 3rd year namely Ms. Nidhi Nagesh Rao, Mr. Shrish Ramesh and Ms. Neha M has been participated in the crises committee and put forth some well-tailored solutions in the Assembly.
Our student, Ms. Nidhi Nagesh Rao with a portfolio of Theresa May, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland was awarded a ‘Special Mention’, alongwith a cash price of Rs. 3000/- for her commendable speeches.
