Kreeda Vaibhav 2025 (5th -6th March 2025)
The much-awaited Annual Sports event Kreeda Vaibhav 2025, for Students of BGSGIMS, BGSGINS, SJBCON, BGSGIAS and BGSGIPS was held from 5th -6th , March 2025. The event is started with Seeking the Blessings of His Holiness, Paramapujya Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji.His Holiness, Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji, President, Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust, Revered Sri Sri Dr. Prakashnath Swamiji, MD, BGS & SJB group of Institutions, Bangalore.
The meet was inaugurated by His Holiness Revered Dr. Prakashnath Swamiji, Managing Director, BGS and SJB groups of Institution and graced the event.
The guests are Ms. POONAM BELLIAPPA International Athlete & Coach from Kodagu, Mr. AVINASH MUKUND SABLE Olympian Indian track and Field Athlete specialist in steeplechase.
The event started with flag hoisting by Swamiji followed by Marchpast. The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way commencing with Marchpast of the nine groups of different houses. The Swamiji and guests on the dias took the salute of the impressive March Past. Mr. AVINASH MUKUND SABLE administered the oath. Revered Sri Sri Dr. Prakashnath Swamiji declared the Meet open and tricolour balloons were released by the guests. The events for student include cricket, football, volleyball, Basket Ball, Badminton, Throw ball, Table tennis, chess & carrom Athletics include races in categories of 800mtr, 400mtrs, 200mtrs, 100mtrs, 60mtrs and 4x100mtrs relay for boys as well as girls. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and encouragement for the young athletes. The competitors participated with great excitement in the track and field events.
The events are also conducted for faculty, include Lemon and Spoon Tug of War 100 m Race (for 50 below) , ,Sack Race 60 m Walking Race (for 50 above), Shot put, Badminton , Table tennis and Carrom.The winners were awarded medals and certificates of merit. The day ended on a cheerful note by Dean with national anthem.
