CME AND WORKSHOP ON “INFERTILITY ON THE RISE”
Under the able guidance and motivation of the Dean and Principal of BGS GIMS ,Dr. M E Mohan, the
department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Co –ordination with Genea fertility Centre, Bangalore successfully conducted a CME and Workshop ON “INFERTILITY ON THE RISE” on 23rd April 2024. The CME was conducted in co-ordination with Genea Fertility Centre, Bangalore, with a view to update the students and faculty with the basics and recent advances in the field of Infertility in gynecology. The programme began with an inaugural function followed by an introduction to Basics of Infertility by Dr. Divyashree P S , Medical Director , Genea fertility Centre which was chaired by Professor and HOD, Dr.Rekha N . Various Eminent speakers of Genea fertility Centre gave Lectures on Various Topics of Infertility and made the sessions more interesting and captivating. One session had Video demonstrations on various infertility procedures like IUI, ICSI, Oocyte pickup. There was Inter- college Quiz competition on topic of Infertility for post graduates .The session was followed by audience interaction.
