World Hearing Day’ by Department of ENT in BGS GIMS on 3rd March 2025
With the blessings of Swamiji and with the permission from our beloved Dean/Prinicipal Dr. M E Mohan & Medical Superintendent Dr. Srikanth Kulkarni.
‘The World hearing day’ was celebrated by Department of ENT in BGS GIMS on March 3rd 2025.The invited guest of honour Dr. N C Kumar, Prinicipal of BGS GIDS, graced the occasion. Our enthusiastic interns ,3rd year MBBS students and post graduates took part in the public awareness programme regarding noise induced hearing loss and early detection of congenital hearing loss, they displayed their talent in the form of skits demonstration. Poster competition was also held for 3rd year MBBS students on the theme “Changing mindsets, Empower yourself to make Ear and Hearing care a reality for all” and prizes were distrubuted .
With the permission of Dean, adult hearing testing was done free of cost for world hearing day week and hearing aids given at discounted rates.
