The CME program was conducted jointly by Departments of Biochemistry & Physiology, BGS GIMS, Bengaluru on 19/02/2025.
In Pre Lunch Sessions following topics were discussed –
a) Basics in Renal physiology , Dr. Savitha, Professor & Head, Dept. of Physiology, St Johns Medical College and Research Centre, Bengaluru.
b) Common clinical renal disorders ,Dr. Anil Kumar B.T, HOD & Sr. Consultant Nephrologist and Transplant Physician, BGS Gleneagles Hospitals, Bangalore.
c) Advanced biomarkers in renal damage,Dr. Shashidhar K.N, Professor, Dept of Biochemistry , Sri Devraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research
d) Renal dialysis: overview & recent advances ,Dr. Arun Kumar J, Consultant Nephrologist, BGS Gleneagles Hospitals, Bangalore.
In Post Lunch Session following topics were discussed –
e) Laboratory variations/dilemma in hemodialysis, Dr Srinivas H, Associate Professor, ESI KK Nagar, Chennai.
f) Case Discussions by Dr. Anil Kumar B.T / Dr. Arun Kumar J, Department of Nephrology. BGS Gleneagles Hospitals, Bangalore.
Delegates were Credited with 2 CME Credit hours.
