Workshop on Ophthalmoscopy

SCIENTIFIC COURSE IN OPHTHALMOSCOPY

A scientific course on ophthalmoscopy was held in BGS-GIMS hospital for 5 days from 11/05/2022 to 16/05/2022.

On day one there  was a talk on direct & indirect ophthalmoscopy by Dr. Raju Sampangi

On day two there was a demonstration of fundoscopy in Diabetic Retinopathy by Dr. Nibedita Acharya, H.o.d in Department Of Ophthalmology.

On day Three there was a demonstration of fundoscopy in hypertensive Retinopathy by Dr. Manjula Y M.

On Day four there was fundoscopy in PIH by Dr.Suma C

On day five there was fundus camera photography demonstration by Dr. Bindu Madhavi. R & Dr. Kavya Krishna Rao Deshpande.

All these events on 5 days were followed by hands on training to interns & post Graduates of various Departments . this occasion was graced by our beloved Dean cum principal of BGS-GIMS Dr. ME Mohan who highlighted about the advances in ophthalmology. Medical superintendent and all the HOD’s of various departments also attended and made the event successful.
