NDCT Rules and Guidelines for Conduct of Biomedical and Health Research

CME was organized on “Ethics, Good Clinical Practice, NDCT Rules and Guidelines for
Conduct of Biomedical and Health Research” for faculty and “Ethics, Good Clinical Practice,
Good Laboratory Practice” for the Postgraduate students on 14 th June 2024 by the
Institutional Ethics Committee, BGSGIMS along with Department of Community Medicine,
BGSGIMS and in association with MEU BGSGIMS. Dr. Ashok Shenoy Professor
Department of Pharmacology, KMC, Mangalore and Dr. Animesh Jain Professor Department
of Community Medicine, KMC, Mangalore were the guest speakers for the scientific
sessions. Brief session was conducted on ICH Good Clinical Practice R2 Guidelines 2016,
ICMR Guidelines for Biomedical and Health Research 2017, NDCT Rules 2019, Safety
Reporting in clinical Trials, Informed consent and Publication Ethics.
