CME on International Clinical trial day 2022 – Overview of Good Clinical Practice and New Drugs and Clinical Trials Rules 2019

In view of the international clinical trial day 2022, a CME was successfully conducted by the Department of Community Medicine along with the Department of Medicine and Central Research Institute under the able guidance of our dynamic Dean cum Principal, Dr. M E Mohan on ‘International Clinical trial day 2022 -Overview of Good Clinical Practice and New Drugs and Clinical Trials Rules 2019’.

Different sessions on the importance of International Clinical trial day, investigatorresponsibilities, the process of informed consent, the shared investigator platform, the process of registration, site inspection readiness, New Drugs and Clinical Trials Rules 2019 were conducted by the distinguished speakers Dr. Seema Pai, Ms. Pallavi Chaturvedi, Mr. Rohit Chand, Ms. AnaghaPadhye. The sessions ended with an interactive Question and Answer session and lastly the day was celebrated by cutting the cake by our Dean cum Principal, Dr. M E Mohan along with other dignitaries,Dr. Seema Pai, Director, Clinical Site Operations, GSSO, Pfizer, India, Dr. Srikanth Kulkarni, Medical Superintendent, Dr. Balachandra G, Professor and Head, Department of Medicine, Dr. Raju Koneri, Director, Central Research Institute, Mr. Jestin V Thomas, Managing Director, Leads Clinical Research And Bioservices Private Ltd and Dr. Jayashree S Seeri, Professor and Head, Department of Community Medicine.
